Time is set forth in an everlasting stone
What has once been said is now done
And yet we claw away frantically
Wishing to change what is altered
Just a poem I made about time. It reminds me of those moments where I wish with all my heart that I could go to the past and remind myself something, or change one little thing that would make life at least slightly easier. However, of course, we can't do that. Therefore we must keep in mind the future and the now, because that's the only thing we can change, while still referencing the past every once in a while, so we don't fall in the same place twice.
So very true. Loved your poem Erratic, thanks for share.
We, or at least I, have had these times. I agree with you fixed form can be daunting... I live within a thesaurus. This is an amazing work. and I am impressed
I had presented this poem to my class. I am a near-perfectionist, so I was frustrated when I realized that a part of it didn't flow like I wanted it to. And what do you know, I wished that I could go back in time and whisper to myself "Psst, re-check that part right there..." XD This isn't a very big, life-changing example, but I was flustered afterwards all the same.
I really like it, such a good job!
This poem is very pretty, good job!
